As for her fiancé, she let it slip that she always knew she’d spend forever with Future. When asked when she knew he’d be her husband, she replied: “Very early on. He came with something that I’d never felt before: the true presence of a man.” Read more

At Long Last Kim Kardashian Covers VOGUE Magazine With Kanye West + Editor Anna Wintou Explains Why Kim is On There

kim-kanye-vogue cover-april-2014

For many years, Kim Kardashian has dreamt and lobbied to appear on the cover of the prestigious VOGUE magazine—but she has been unsuccessful until today…

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have covered the April Edition of America VOGUE to the shock of many—especially VOGUE subscribers.

When the cover surfaced online, many asked, why, how and who allowed this?  What must have pushed Anna Wintou to change her position on Kim Kardashian?

Expressing her excitement, Kim tweeted;

This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can’t even breath!

Anna Wintou has decided to explain why Kim and Kanye are on thee cover and she wrote;

Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it. I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)

As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.

There’s barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven’t been able to master, and for good reason: Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that.

Rihanna Nov Glamour Cover

Rihanna is the cover girl for Glamour Magazine’s November issue inside which she talks about style, the difference between “Robyn” and “Rihanna” and discusses how her mom has influenced her and regaining her fearlessness.

On the difference between Robyn and Rihanna…

“When people call me Robyn, my head just flies around because I feel like that person knows me. But Rihanna, that tends to be people’s own [creation]. Robyn is who I am. Rihanna—that’s an idea of who I am.”

On who’s on her best-dressed list…

“Oh my God, are you kidding me? Nicole Richie. She just pisses me off, she’s so good. But you know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. She was like—she killed it. Every look was right. She was gangsta with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore.”

‘I wish I could say it was all mine,’ she said in her monthly magazine column.

‘My own hair is shorter, not quite to spherical, and a lot lighter. But that doesn’t mean it never gives me grief. When it comes to hair, I’m in the same boat as most every other woman.’

R&B Singer-Kelly Rowland is the cover girl of Essence Magazine-September Issue.

In a revealing interview with Essence, Rowland, 32, explains the meaning behind those much-discussed references to Bey on “Dirty Laundry,” the lead single from her fourth solo album Talk a Good Game. “For a long time I wasn’t happy, but that had nothing to do with Beyoncé,” Rowland says. “That had to do with me trying to get my life in order and make better decisions for myself. I’m seeing all these wonderful things happen for her and I am happy for her. But I want a path. I want things to pop off for me, too. Not on her level but whatever my level is supposed to be.”

Finding her strength — literally — has been key to blazing new trails, the X-Factor judge tells ESSENCE. Through workouts with trainer Jeanette Jenkins and sparring sessions with former boxer Martin Snow, she’s finding her power. “I see the beauty in boxing,” she says. “It teaches me strength, physically but mostly mentally. I had to learn my strength, because for so long I could have been tougher than I was.”

In the interview, she also talked about her estranged father, her romantic relationship and her hopes for the future…
