Katy Perry is not content with getting only one nomination at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. She actually wanted her chart-topping single ‘Roar’ to be nominated in the “Video of The Year” category; but was snubbed.
So the disappointed “Fireworks” singer decided to go on Twitter and take a subtle dig at the forthcoming award show.

I agree with Katy. ‘Roar’ totally deserved to be nominated in the “Video of The Year” category. The video for ‘Roar’ was very colourful and had a beautiful story line.
I was very much appalled to see Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” making the list. All Miley did in the visual was to get naked and disgustingly lick a sledge hammer. How did “Wrecking Ball” topple “Roar” to make list??
Also another nomination that shocked me was “Royals” being nominated for “Best Female Video”. How did such an awful video make the nomination list? Lorde is one of favourite singers but truth be told, the visual for “Royals” is one of the worst ever. It basically does not make sense.

Whatever it is, Jay-Z must be applauded for being a real man—restraining himself when Solange was all over attacking him with kicks. And she even went further to spit on him.
Before the 3 celebrities attended last week’s Met Gala, there was this mess up incidence that took place at the Standard Hotel in NYC. In surveillance video obtained my celebrity blog-TMZ, Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange are seen stepping into an elevator … and then Solange goes crazy, screaming at Jay before unleashing a violent attack. Yesterday, Beyonce dropped the official video for her song-Partition, with some erotic scenes…
The video is said to have been influenced by Beyoncé’s trip to the Crazy Horse Burlesque show in Paris on the night that Jay Z proposed—on the same night, he was celebrating his birthday…
In a behind the scene video, Beyonce revealed that;

There’s songs like “Partition” and I’m in the studio and I hear this beat and I hear this baseline and it has snaps and it’s like, two tracks. Very simple. It reminds me of like Too $hort or E-40. It takes me back to being in my car [as a] teenager and it takes me back to when me and my husband first met. He’s trying to scoop me and he thinks I’m the hottest thing in the world. I kinda had this whole fantasy of being in the car and this whole movie played in my head. I didn’t have a pen and paper, I just got to the mic. I’m like “Oh, press record.” Read more
