Stevie Wonder Files For Divorce!

According to TMZ, Stevie Wonder has just filed for divorce …

In the divorce docs obtained by TMZ, the music icon cites irreconcilable differences.  According to the papers, Wonder has been separated from wifeKai Millard Morris since October 2009.

Wonder filed the divorce papers using his legal name, Stevland Morris, and signed with two fingerprints.

In the docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Wonder asks for joint custody of the couple’s two boys, ages 10 and 7.

In the docs, Wonder agrees to pay both spousal and child support.

Although Wonder amassed his fortune long before he tied the knot with Kai back in 2001, some assets will be split … though the papers indicate the amount has yet to be determined.

The First Lady of the United States-Michelle Obama made a prestigious appearance at the 2012 BET Honors which was held on Saturday, 14th January and hosted by Actreess Gabrielle Union.

Also in attendance were Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, Willow Smith, Kelly Rowland, Aretha Franklin and singer Michelle Williams .

At the event Nick Cannon was honored alongside poet/author Dr. Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder and director Spike Lee.

Performances were from Kelly Rowland, Mariah Caret, Stevie Wonder, Willow Smith, Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Jennifer Hudson, rapper Common and others…

At the event, Michelle Obama and many others called on the black community to civic action….And throughout the night, blacks were encouraged to vote ‘like their lives depended on it’ in the upcoming 2012 election…
